The milk and honey combination smoothes and moisurizes tired feet. Honey is wonderful in protecting and rejuvinating with its antioxident properties which act as skin rejuvinators, while its hydrogen peroxide properties aid in clensing.
Honey also has humectant properties that trap and seal in moisture, leaving skin soft and supple.
Step 1) Choose from one of our two honey baths:
Skin softening bath: Add a generous dollop of honey to foot bath water for a fragrant, silky soak.
Foaming vanilla honey bath: Mix one cup of sweet almond oil with 1/2 cup of honey, 1/2 cup of liquid soap, and one tablespoon of vanilla extract. Carefully stir the honey, liquid soap and vanilla extract into the oil until fully blended. Pour into a clean plastic bottle with a tight-fitting stopper or lid. Shake gently before using. Pour a dollop into your hand-soak bowl or foot bath then add warm water.
Step 2) Mix one tablespoon of honey with two tablespoons of finely ground almonds and 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice. Rub gently on the feet, then rinse with warm water.
